Silver Knight Nominated

SAMIPP has been nominated for a Silver Knight Award!

Our founder, Tatiana Santacoloma received the honor of being nominated for the 2025 Silver Knight Award in the Athletics category.

The Silver Knight Award recognizes outstanding students who have not only maintained good grades but have also unselfishly applied their special knowledge and talents to contribute significant service to their schools and communities.

We hold great pride over receiving this nomination as it not only gives credibility to the community efforts SAMIPP promotes, but it also allows us to garner further recognition for our project on a national scale.

With such recognition, our outreach efforts are significantly facilitated which allows us to reach more students in need. We hope being nominated will allow us to grow our efforts and eventually become a highly utilized and trusted resource within the student athlete community.

Our team at SAMIPP is dedicated to destigmatizing mental illness and creating a reliable support system for student athletes, so this nomination is very meaningful to us as it validates the work that we put in toward creating a more open minded, proactive community. Awaiting the Silver Knight Award ceremony in May, we will continue to further SAMIPP’s mission and hopefully bring home our first trophy!
